Distilled at Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery, the aromas show sanded oak, ice cream wafers, peppercorn, candied orange, ground hazelnut, and banana chip. The high proof delivers a sustained blast of peppery heat at full strength, supported by flavors of maple syrup, walnut, orange peel, and that wafer note, with hints of root vegetable savoriness and oak tannins at the end. Water coaxes out milk chocolate and singed orange peels.
