Very earthy on the nose, with herbal notes of parsley and thyme. Initially very delicate on the palate considering its proof, but the heat is there, balancing well with fruit flavors of strawberry jam, ripe banana, and orange, along with chocolate, warm ginger spice, black pepper, and barrel char. The finish is long, spicy, and rich, with similar flavors to the palate. A well-balanced, well-made sipper.
