This is unusual given its finishing in six different casks: chardonnay, cabernet sauvi- gnon, apple brandy, muscatel, oloroso sherry, and tokaji. Aromas of baked peach, pecan pie, cherry turnovers, and mixed berries rise up to meet you. The palate is grippy and big to start, with some herbs and tannins. Water brings on quite a change, adding tea, toasted corn, and black peppercorn spice before a somewhat dry finish. An earthy pour.
