Coffee grounds, red wine, red berries, and light char on the nose. Water brings out floral notes. Overall the flavors come on strong—there is nothing subtle about this one. The palate offers lots of chocolate and cinnamon stick, accented by maraschino cherry. The finish is long and spicy, with Big Red gum and oak. A powerfully forward whiskey in true Texas style, with plenty to offer.
