Glen Scotia 50 year old The Elements of Campbeltown Collection: Air, 42.3%
Price: ● Issue: Fall 2025 ● Reviewer: Jonny McCormick ● Category: Single Malt Scotch
Matured in American oak hogsheads, the nose has sea spray, seasoned oak, singed driftwood, ground cinnamon, soft leather, financiers, and honey on toasted sourdough. Reminiscent of a richer, softer version of the 25 year old, it’s bright and sweet to taste, with fudge, heaps of vanilla, stone fruit, and salted caramel, followed by a salivating finish of sweet vanilla and juicy fruit. Resist adding water, and just sip it neat. (100 bottles)
