This opulent malt opens with a nose overflowing with vanilla custard, banana pudding, and freshly baked brownies. The palate is more complex, with toffee and peanut brittle adding depth and additional sweetness. With water, oak and spice emerge, along with baking chocolate, cinnamon, and toasted grains. While this takes water well, it remains quite approachable even at bottling strength. The finish offers brown sugar sweetness and polished oak.
