Distilled in 2001, and matured in French virgin oak and oloroso sherry casks, this takes water well. Neat, however, the nose has melted chocolate, sweet cinnamon powder, pear, espresso, tobacco leaf, and nutmeg. It opens with chocolate, oak char, spices, and orange peel, adding brown sugar, cinnamon stick, coffee bean, and melted chocolate, leaving a lasting spiciness on the finish.
