Glendronach Ode to the Valley Sherry & Port Cask Matured, 46.2%

Its name is a nod to the Valley of Forgue, where Glendronach is located. Candied orange, tropical notes of mango and pine- apple, and an underlying chalkiness on the nose. The palate offers deep flavors of cooked berries, vanilla, and pepper spice; it’s smooth but with a balanced oak bite. The finish has excellent length with a spicy ending. Rich and sherried; not exceptional integration, but lovely aged flavors.
