Famously unpeated, Glengoyne has been distilled in the Highlands for nearly 200 years, but is aged in the Lowlands. This expression lures you in with a gentle aroma of toasted bread. Almond and nougat come alive on the palate, along with a faint hint of sauternes wine on the finish. A drop of water brings out some previously hidden earthiness and lengthens the finish. Elegant and balanced.
