Matured in whisky creator Dr. Bill Lumsden’s designer bourbon casks of seasoned slow- growth American oak, with a touch of this whisky finished in malmsey madeira casks, the nose is dessert-like with peach, mango, vanilla, and almond cream, plus polished wood and florist shop. The soft, rounded palate flows with mandarin, pear, gooseberry tart, marzipan fruits, and banana Laffy Taffy, with a lingering finish of dried fruit, butterscotch, and banana custard.
