Replacing the 12 year old, the extra time in bourbon and sherry casks results in an elegant whisky with complex aromas of toffee, plum, ripe cherry, and plump raisins on the nose, plus leather, walnut, cinder toffee, and chocolate-covered cranberries. Spicy and juicy in the mouth, with plum, black cherry, marma- lade, and baking spices, it yields to cherry-studded toffee and vanilla, with hints of dark chocolate. (Release date: 7/25)
