Glenturret 12 year old (2024 Release), 46.4%

From the distillery’s core range, aged in American and European oak, oloroso, and PX casks. Tarry barrel char, candied orange, vanilla-frosted cupcake, and steeped black tea on the nose. The palate is soft and nicely spiced with baked apples, cinnamon, and a hint of banana. The long finish offers balanced pepper spice, more baked apple, blueberry pie, and a hint of cigar ash. Depth and length on the finish, with layered complexity.
