Orchard fruit with flashes of tropical fruit and citrus peel, damp oak, and nectarine, with chewed leather and field mushroom aromas later. It’s rounded and polished, with zested lemon, marmalade, honey, dried apricot, peach, Golden Delicious apple, and pear, with a sedate finish of baked apple and sliced lemon. Distilled in the year of the King’s birth; it’s good, but didn’t have the wow factor. (281 decanters, 14 for the U.S.)
