The nose is sumptuous, rich, and absorbing, with toffee apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, date, leather, dried vine fruit, polished antique wood, gingerbread, and oak char. It’s silky smooth on the palate, with chocolate orange, vanilla extract, prune, and berry compote, shifting into milk chocolate, espresso, raisins, and dried fruits, with a finish of leather, prune, musty chocolate, and clove.
