Caramel, orange oil, beeswax candles, damp moss, lemon curd, apple peel, and tobacco leaf on the nose of this 44 year old matured in a refill American oak hogshead. A slightly oily mouthfeel, with pineapple and grapefruit providing some tart acidity, evolving into sour plum, caramelized fruit, dried apricot, peach rings, and Tangfastics, with cinnamon and oak on the finish.
