Hard Truth Barrel Finish Reserve Mizunara Oak Finished, 62.3%

This straight rye (94% rye, 6% malted barley) is exceptionally dark in the glass, with a cherry cola nose. Cherries abound, hinting at maraschino liqueur, and the copious sweetness is buttressed by a touch of menthol. Water brings out even more flavor, and the finish is delightfully long. Limited release, with 21 barrels made.
