This series offers elaborate detail as to its mashbill (corn varietal Beck’s 6269) and aging (6 years in rickhouse W9 on the fourth and fifth floors). The wheat is the star of the nose, which has Nilla Wafers, vanilla cupcakes, and icing. Mocha, caramel-coated peanuts, and Snickers dance on the palate with the first sip. There’s also some candy corn, with a spicy finish that grows ever longer with a little water. Quite tasty.
