High West Distillery and Casa Noble are joining forces for a groundbreaking release. Known as The Noble Share, this collaboration features a blend of straight rye whiskeys aged 4-10 years old, finished in Marques de Casa Noble añejo barrels.
Utah-based High West Distillery has earned a reputation as an industry leader for its meticulous approach to blending, resulting in products that surpass the sum of their parts. Casa Noble, a legendary tequila producer, traces its heritage through seven generations of maestro tequileros to a distillery located just outside the town of Tequila, Jalisco.
Pepe Hermosillo, Casa Noble Founder & Maestro Tequilero, shared “This collaboration between Casa Noble and High West is a true celebration of craftsmanship and tradition, where the bold, botanical spice of High West rye meets the refined elegance of Casa Noble’s Marques Añejo French Oak barrels. Together, we’ve created something exceptional that bridges the worlds of whiskey and tequila.”
American whiskey and tequila have emerged in the past decade as two of the most sought-after spirits globally. This exceptional collaboration is poised to captivate connoisseurs, collectors, and enthusiasts of both categories.
To create The Noble Share, High West uses four to ten-year-old ryes, pulling from their own inventory and sourced 95% rye/5% malted barley. After High West’s team crafted the blend, it was finished in Marques de Casa Noble Añejo tequila barrels. Additionally, a small portion of the blend is finished in Brazilian Amburana barrels for a very brief period to add an elegant accent to the final blend.
Bottled at 52% ABV, The Noble Share reveals beautiful, cooked agave on the nose with hints of lemongrass, vanilla, and cinnamon. The palate offers a complementary botanical character and spiciness from the rye whiskey, with an added note of cinnamon stick imparted by the Amburana barrels. Complex yet well-balanced, The Noble Share boasts a long, lingering finish.
The limited-edition bottle celebrates both spirits producers and their respective regions, featuring a striking monochrome label that contrasts the mountains of Utah with the valleys of Jalisco.
Tara Lindley, Director of Blend & Sensory at High West, remarks: “This collaboration is a significant milestone for the spirits community. High West is honored to blend its whiskey traditions with Casa Noble’s heritage to present this new expression to consumers.”
