This release includes wheat alongside the typical Jimmy Red corn in the mashbill. It takes a few minutes to open up, but it rewards your patience with a lovely nose of cherry gelato, caramel hard candies, brown sugar, chocolate-covered berries, and peanut butter. The palate is chewy and well-textured, with salted peanuts, barrel spice, pepper, vanilla, oak, and lush black cherries that linger through the finish.
