Aged 8 years in new charred American oak and finished for 1 year in char No. 4 new American oak, only 30 barrels produced. Sweet on the nose, with musty oak, brown sugar, maple syrup, and fruit cup. Red berries and chocolate on the hot palate—it’s a big one that needs water. The finish has length and spice, with dark chocolate and black coffee. Well-balanced, with a very classic bourbon profile.
