Iron Smoke Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 40%

Barrel forward on the nose, giving off new wood, lemon-lime soda, and lemon icing. Pepper-spiced on the palate, with dark berry notes of black currant, black cherry, blackberry, and banana. Water calms it down, and brings out more berry notes and pleasant notes of vanillin, along with white pepper. Some interesting flavors here and there, but this one perhaps needs a bit more maturity to truly shine.
