Jack Daniel's Añejo Tequila Finished, 45%

The first tequila-cask finish ever from the normally tradition-bound Jack Daniel. It’s graceful on the nose, with floral and tropical aromas of lime and lemon blossom. Slightly salty on the palate, but mainly creamy, with vanilla, ripe banana, and brown sugar melding with more citrus. The spice from the tequila barrel comes through in the finish, but it’s a smooth ride rather than tart. Tequila finishing might not seem an appealing idea to everyone, but this one is artful.
