Jimmy Red Bottled in Bond, 50%

Made from the once nearly extinct red corn strain that was revived by High Wire Distilling Co. of Charleston, South Carolina. Spicy and earthy on the nose, with dried parsley, celery, and new leather. The palate offers fresh grain and sweet notes of molasses, berries, and plum pudding sprinkled with chile powder. A drier finish offers chocolate and spice. A rambunctious one with nice sweetness and very good integration of flavors.
