The flagship whiskey from a small Chicago-based distiller. Freshly made chocolate, fresh grains, and rye seeds; overall a very bracing, fresh, and aromatic nose, like a brisk breeze in the rye fields. Spicy and fruited on the palate, with melon, honey, and lip-smacking pepper spice; smooth and honeyed with just the right note of rye spice. A mid-length finish with honeyed sweetness is spiced but gentle.
