Dried herbs up front on the nose, dunnage house floor, and new oak, with nice background citrus. The palate is quite young and smooth, showing chocolate, cherry, and pepper spice, but still a lot of new-oak influence. On the finish, some nuttiness and more chocolate, with peanuts, dried raspberries, and cherry pie. Overall, it seems that it needs a bit more aging.
