Jura Bourbon Cask Matured, 40%

Previously called Journey, this entry-level whisky is one of the great values in single malt and an excellent introduction to the whiskies of this remote island, where deer outnumber people by more than 20-to-1. Light on the nose and palate, this fleet-footed whisky is fruity and tropical with Key lime pie, lemon zest, forest floor, and a little prickle of spice. The finish, while short, brings additional earth to Jura’s malt. (Release date: 10/23).
