Matured in bourbon barrels and finished in virgin American oak. Deliciously smoky like autumnal garden bonfires, with aromas of banana and treacle muffin, papaya, gingerbread, antique oak, worn leather, vanilla pod, oak tannins, and walnut shells. Flavors of baked apple, chocolate-chip cookies, woodsmoke, ginger, dark honey, clove, allspice, and pepper, then marzipan and more oak, before becoming a touch leathery. It finishes with feisty spices and tobacco smoke, plus flashes of lemon curd sweetness.
