The natural colors from the cask have delivered a dark chestnut dram with a nose of walnut, roasted spice, dark toffee, maple syrup, raked leaves, vanilla, heather honey, brown sugar cookies, and plenty of oak. Sweet nuttiness and heather honey on the palate, with lots of spice and grip from the oak. It needs water, but in the sweet spot there’s maple syrup, cinnamon, raspberry syrup, Whoppers, and burnt oak. (173 bottles)
