Kilchoman 14 year old 20th Anniversary Cask Series Ex-Bourbon Barrel Matured, 51.2%

The nose of this malt, which aged entirely in bourbon barrels, is honeyed and fragrant with peach rings, apricot marmalade on buttered toast, caramel, and just a hint of peat smoke. A crack of peppery spice on the palate is softened by dried apricot, raisin, lemon meringue, and vanilla bean. The finish is lush, redolent of graham cracker crust, Whoppers candy, chocolate orange, and vanilla pastry cream.
