The oldest whisky bottled by Kilchoman to date, toasting its founding year of 2005. Billows of fresh peat smoke and charcoal float above marshmallow, vanilla, and lemon on the nose. On the smooth palate, dry peat smoke pulls against vanilla, lemon cream, peaches, apricots, and light pepper spice. The texture is mellow, yet the sweet flavors are vibrant and fresh. A long finish of peach and vanilla, then a soft peat finale.
