Peat smoke and charred pine aromas rise from the glass with crackling-ember intensity. The smoke is the star on the nose but it’s perfumed with charred pineapple and ripe lemons. After acclimating to the smoke, a medicinal character emerges with a hint of antiseptic, rubber, and Band-Aids vying with cedar smoke and citrus. The palate is long and sweetens with time, as vanilla and Creamsicle meet the considerable peaty punch.
