Lots of peat on the nose, then grilled bacon against potpourri, lavender, and back notes of vanilla and dark fruit. Smoke and dark fruit on the palate, but it’s soft and sweet, with a nice peated bite. A very long finish, remarkably fruity and flavorful, with the peat continuing on along with maritime flavors of dried seaweed, sea salt, and brine. Racy and complex.
