Leiper's Fork 4 year old Bottled in Bond (Batch 14), 50%

Small batch whiskey maker Leiper's Fork opened in 2016 in the hills and farmland of Williamson County, just south of Nashville, with a commitment to using locally sourced ingredients. This is herbal and balanced on the nose with hints of orange and a nice oak influence. The texture is soft and the palate offers chocolate and light fruit notes of orange and red berries, held nicely in check by the oak. The finish offers good length.
