Lebanese whisky produced at Riachi Distillery. Double distilled from high-roasted imperial dark malt and matured in new white oak casks, the nose is compelling, with notes of fresh-roasted coffee beans, cacao, vanilla pod, peppercorn, beautifully bitter high cocoa content chocolate, burnt fruitcake, and roasted pecans. It’s slightly mouth-drawing initially, developing flavors of velvety milk chocolate, burnt sugar, molasses, vanilla, espresso, and hazelnut truffle It’s delicious, but a little goes a long way.
