Lost Lantern Far Flung Bourbon IV Slow Proofed Blend of Straights, 60.4%

A blend of bourbons from Baltimore Spirits, Rich Grain Distilling, High Wire Distilling, SanTan Spirits, Whiskey Acres Distilling Co., Still Austin, and Wollersheim Distillery. This “slow proof” expression was proofed down over a period of several weeks. Sweet bananas, custard, earthiness, and angel food cake fill the nose. Orange marmalade, raspberry, and vanilla on the palate. The finish is a bit dry but the oak is balanced by chocolate pastry, vanilla, and tobacco.
