The palate leads with more oak, peanut brittle, and chewy Chips Ahoy amid spices like cinnamon stick, chai, and pepper. The tannins recede on the finish, revealing black cherry, Ghirardelli dark chocolate, vanilla cream, and leather at the very end. Powerful from start to finish, but carries its proof very well.
