Lost Lantern Single Cask Series New Riff Distilling Kentucky Straight Rye, 57.8%

Made from New Riff’s standard rye mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted rye, this single cask is awash with cinnamon applesauce, red fruit, citrus peel, and warming spice on the nose. A lovely array of flavors comes forth on the palate, among them baked apple, chocolate ice cream, toasted nuts, and spearmint gum. The finish is creamy and skews darker, with wood spice, black pepper, and a hint of char leading the way.
