Brown sugar, barrel char, licorice gum drops on the nose, plenty of vanillin, and overall a candied fragrance is balanced by spice and oak. Smooth and with more balanced sweetness on the palate, buttery texture, light whiffs of woodsmoke, and fragrant dustiness. Mellow on the palate, and creamy, with good length. A very smooth, straightforwardly pleasant sipper. (167 bottles)
