These days, there are plenty of sherry-finished bourbons to enjoy, but this Pedro Ximénez- finished iteration sets itself apart by offering quite a breadth of flavor. The nose is funky, with some tropical fruit—banana bread, grilled pineapple—alongside grape soda, citrus oil, Heath bar, Medjool dates, ripe berries, and spearmint gum...whew! The spiced palate keeps those notes coming: There’s plenty of cinnamon, pepper, chocolate, and red berries, all of which follow through to the finish. (Release date: 9/24)
