Michael Collins “The Prediction,” 40%

The year 2022 marks the centenary of Collins's death in County Cork at the age of 31. A blend of triple-distilled whiskeys, the nose offers vanilla, light citrus, sponge fingers, soft peach, lemon drizzle cake, and a moderate level of spice. It's a relaxed dram for neat sipping, but has all the right qualities for mixing: sweet lemon, vanilla fudge, fresh apple, pear, and zippy spices.
