Milam & Greene Unabridged Volume 3 Cask Strength Blend of Straights, 59%

This blend of 49 barrels marries six whiskeys distilled in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas. On the nose, there’s mint, sage, and toasted almond backed by leather and tobacco leaf. The palate is rich and viscous, with candied pecans underpinned by sweet-and-spicy cinnamon sugar. It holds its proof well, but water draws out sea salt-flecked chocolate and raspberry jam. The finish is long and sweet, with a pronounced cinnamon tingle.
