Fruity, floral, sweet, and fresh, the nose has bright citrus and fresh orchard fruit, toasted marshmallow, jasmine, Love Hearts, incense, perfume, and complex florals. This triumphs over previous versions; it’s refreshing, with baked apple, peach, nectarine, and pineapple, developing into marmalade, candied orange, and a fine spiciness, then almond, cherry cake, soft oak, and clove. The finish is waxy and sappy, with caramel and baked fruit.
