Morris uses its own winery’s fortified wine barrels and local barley to make this deep amber dram with its vinous aromas of dried morello cherry, damson, black currant, tobacco, almond, and well-integrated spices. There’s an immediate burst of red fruit on the palate, with cherry, plum, and dried raspberry, plus a spicy kick, then fruitcake, jellied fruits, and a hint of chocolate. A highly distinctive Australian whisky.
