On the nose, this malt is herbaceous and fruit-driven, balancing sweet mint and fennel, golden syrup, jammy berries, and dark fruit. The palate, despite the proof, is gentle, with orchard fruit, peach candies, fresh-baked bread, and baked apples. The finish is long, with cinnamon sugar, mint tea, and a lingering pepperiness.
