Made with the Balboa rye strain, aged 4 years, and non-chill filtered. Plenty of rye spice on the nose but with a candy coating of caramel, candied walnuts, and candy corn. Thick and creamy on the palate, with red berries, apple, cracked pepper, and rye spice. A long finish of chocolate, coffee ice cream, cinnamon, sweet orange, dry spice, and dessert flavors. Great depth and integration; a super-complex sipper.
