It’s a little musty at the jump, but soon enough caramel, raisins, chocolate, cherries, and vanilla cream join the fray. While not significantly high in proof, there’s a bite of spice on the palate, which is mellowed out by cherry sundae syrup, chocolate milk, and cinnamon sugar. Jammy fruit and a drizzle of caramel develop on the finish, which has a lovely chardonnay-like roundness.
