Old Fitzgerald 10 year old Bottled in Bond (Spring 2023), 50%

This bottling of Old Fitz opens with a rich yet balanced nose of pecan pie, cinnamon rolls, and chocolate-hazelnut spread. While the sweets sing loudest on the nose, the palate brings in base notes of oak, dark chocolate, and tart raspberries and cream. Filling out the harmonious flavors are cherries soaked in brandy, baked apples, and brown sugar. The whiskey feels weighty on the palate and the long finish fades to toasted oak.
