A rare high age statement bottling from the venerable high-rye bourbon brand that will only be released once, according to Beam. The nose exudes maturity, with austere oak, dried leaves, and a prickle of rye spice rising from the glass. The palate offers more depth, with sweet corn, dusty oak, dried grains, and a dried fruit sweetness. The finish is pleasantly parching with chocolate-covered cherries and more dusty oak.
