Parker's Heritage Collection 14 year old Reconstructed Heavy Toast Cognac Barrel Finished Straight Malt (2024 Release), 53.5%

Cedar spice, toasted marshmallow, Black Forest cake, and mellow oak aromas on the nose. The palate is fairly smooth if somewhat dry, offering chewy nutty notes of cashews and peanuts, bitter coffee and chocolate, and red berries. It’s a hot one and somewhat tannic, but carries the proof well and delivers on flavor. The finish is mid-length and continues the notes found on the palate: coffee, chocolate ganache, and more nuttiness.
