This is a full-on sherry lover’s whisky, with a nose of chocolate, dried fig, blood orange, chewy fruit bars, vine fruit, and warming spices. It begins lightly on the taste buds with chocolate orange, malt, baked fruits, fruitcake, and pepper, then spins into baked orange, red apple, vanilla essence, and milk chocolate. A smooth creamy finish presents subtle spice with a touch of leather.
